Mark Mortimer is an experienced musician, conductor, piano tutor and writer. He is passionately committed to working with and inspiring young musicians, which led him to form the Tunbridge Wells Youth Orchestra in 2005.

Mark has gained wide conducting experience over a variety of musical styles including opera, operetta, musicals, choral and orchestral.

Recent engagements include conducting The New London Professionals Orchestra and The Royal Academy of Music Chamber Choir.

Mark writes articles on music-related topics for various national and local publications.

Piano lessons

Mark Mortimer is an experienced piano tutor, and can teach adults and children, beginners to advanced, classical and jazz, particularly preparation for Associated Board exams. Mark is also available for exam accompaniment.
